Get more than you pay for

Bought one of these from Lowe’s to store my snowblower in the summer and my lawnmower in the winter (and a bunch of other seasonal stuff). I’ve got to say, this was the easiest and fastest assembly I’ve ever tackeled. It’s been up for two years (2 Maine winters)and is doing well. No leaks, no problem with snow load. I am now looking for another one to store bicycles (and more seasonal stuff). Compared to what’s out there in the same price range, Keter is definitely the best value.

Easy to assemble

This is easy to assemble with just two people. We liked it enough that we now have two of these sheds. We were limited on space so had to have one that was only 3 feet deep. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Easy to install but one piece cracked on me

I got this thing assembled in two hours. The parts are plastic and easy to crack but hey, it’s plastic, so what did I expect. We put the suit cases in it as there are many at our house and I put the mats for our patio set in there. So I am not really using it for heavy duty storage. I say it’s worth the price you buy it for compared to other sheds out there in the market.

Keter Shed – Quality of Parts

 April 4, 2012

My husband and I purchased a Keter shed a couple of years ago. What we liked was the quality and especially how easy it was to read the instructions and put together. All the parts were labeled clearly. We received this new shed the other week. While the parts were all labeled and the product was in good condition (was a little worried re shipping) the quality of the shed has definitely been downgraded. The roof is pretty much cardboard and there are no reinforcements like our previous shed. It took us about 4 hours to put together. Overall the shed is nice, floor is great and it came with shelves, we just were not impressed with the quality. I am also concerned about the roof if we ever get a big snow fall. Something we will have to watch.

Turned Out Nice

I needed a place to store my snow blower and a variety of garden tools that were rusting in my yard. This was the smallest shed I could find that could store it all.

The shed arrived promptly, packed in one jumbo carton, very nicely packaged.

It was relatively easy to assemble, I used only a philips screw driver and a plastic mallet.
It took me about four hours, working at an easy pace. The only time I needed a ladder (actually, I used a plastic milk crate)- was to install the roof panels.

The doors work well, it seems to be surprisingly tight & sturdy…and everything fits in – with room to spare.

I liked it – assemble process was bit hard for one person

I bought it from OSH when it was on sale – around 450$. So far I haven’t seen any water going in during rain so I think it is fine. It was bit hard to assemble for one person but other than that it is pretty good.

Love the product

We bought this same shed over 10 years ago when it was sold by Black & Decker and it still looks and functions great. Our metal shed at a lake home has always leaked and began to rust so we chose another Keter to replace it. We love it.
