Customer Reviews

Good frame, weak cover, 1 quality control item. Great Customer Service!

This product does everything I need it to. To give more description this product have 2 platforms – the bottom one and the top one. They are connected by metal bars. All the frame’s bars are metal and those are connected by very sturdy plastic pieces. It seems to be able to hold a good amount of weight. My only complaint about the build quality is that the cover is VERY fragile. It is made of felt – the kind you get at a hobby store and tears VERY easily. So be very careful.

In my case one of the zippers fell off and is very difficult to re-attach, but I contacted whitmor customer service and they responded very promptly and are sending me a new cover to replace the one with the broken zipper.

Ultimately if the product had a canvas cover that wouldn’t tear easily I’d rank it a 5. Customer service is great if you ever have issues. I would buy another.

I Found An Easy Way To Put It Together

Just before I started putting this closet together, I reread all of the reviews that I read when I selected the product. Many had said that putting on the cover was difficult. Especially the reviewer who said to not put the bottom on until the end and the reviewer who said to put the poles through the fabric corner holes before putting the poles in the frame were helpful. I figured out that essentially ASSEMBLING IT BACKWARDS was the easiest. I assembled the top framework first, then inserted it at the top of the fabric closet. I put the top on the floor and inserted the poles from the bottom of the fabric through the corner holes. I then assembled the bottom framework and pushed it onto the corner poles. Voila! Easy.

Awesome!

This is great. It is strong enough to hold all my winter clothes, keeps dust off of them and doesn’t look too bad. Of course it is in the basement. : ) My hubby had a little trouble putting it together, but that was him. I would recommend this.

Perfect!

I needed an extra closet to put in my basement. I love this product! I also purchased some cedar blocks to keep a fresh scent.

it took a while and 2 people to set up. But I like it a lot—with sturdy frame and a spacious extension to my closet. will take it and use it in the future

Hard to put the case on.

To assemble the structure is easy but I think with the way the case is designed, it’s impossible to be fit onto the frame. Don’t pull the case too hard if you can’t fit it in, you will tear it up. Instead, I cut the bottom off, drag the case downwards from the top of the shelves, then I finally make it look like the displayed product picture.

This was easy to put together. Just put the base on AFTER you put the cover on!! Perfect for switching out summer/winter wardrobe. My husband loved it so much that he wanted me to order him one.

The information is totally correct.. Size..W-X-D-X-H.. Went together first time.. No problems for one person.. I added a board to the bottom to support things I piled into the bottom.. Very nice unit.. When putting together leave all the rods in the plastic bags they come in till needed..This will help in idenifying the correct parts to use when called for in the instructions.. Plastic bags are labeled with letters to match instructions..
